Fulfilling…

The fortnight had been quite fulfilling.
At one end, we finished end-to-end body check-up for 50women of 1st phase. In-depth follow-up of the women needing further treatment will start from tomorrow. Sisters also received the warmth of love in the form of beautiful sweater gifted by our East Bay Family in US. It was a perfect gift as this year we are facing colder season than normal standards.
On the other hand, we got an opportunity to share about of our model at United Nations Development Program’s Partners’ Meet. It was a good learning experience as other partners also shared their way of engagement with sisters & waste management practices. We have also received invitation to conduct a course on “Writing a successful B-plan/B-Proposal” at Entrepreneurship Development Institute of India, Paryavaran Mitra being a social Enterprise.
We are happy to have TCS, Gandhinagar on board with Paryavaran Mitra for collaboration in multiple ways such as dry waste management, Literacy program for women for upcoming centre, volunteers’ engagement to name a few.
On part of Saturday special, sisters had a blast dancing with the team of De Montfort University, UK & Catherine/Lauraben, our Manav Sadhna family from US at two centres. It was so gratifying to see the smiles on the faces of our sisters. They simply loved it..
At last, we would love to invite you all for the inauguration of our upcoming centre ‘Suraksha on 19th Jan, near Hanuman Camp Cantonment area, Ahmedabad.
