Change is the only constant in life…

Excellence is not a destination; it is a continuous journey that never ends – Brian Tracy
Keeping the same spirit of continuous learning with slow & steady growth, last month had been immensely enriching.
With a vision of bringing our Paryavaran Mitras to the forefront of the waste management sector, we have started offering integrated waste management as a service to corporate houses, schools and societies. It had been quite a journey learning various aspects of social behaviour when it comes to rationally discussing waste management of the waste which we ourselves have created.
At the another end, 5th June being World Environment Day, we have been planning few activities to express our gratitude for the immense service our lovely rag-picking women render to society and mother earth. It is heart-warming to see our friends and families in UK (Ani Di, Ewa, Amarbhai & Eashan) also organising an event to bring awareness about the journey of these sisters on the same day.
Now that we have completed 3.5years and have good team & logistics in place, we are also focusing on expansion both horizontally and vertically. Idea is to start another waste collection centre by the end of this year and a processing unit of one of the waste material. Loads of research, meetings and planning is being done on this aspect.
So, all in all it was really a good month filled with loads of learning. We are eagerly looking forward to 5th June.
