Dear friends and family,
As 31st March signifies the end of financial year in Indian economy, we are happy to share some milestones of our project till date.
Key inspiring points are:
1. In this journey, we served more than 300+ women of which 175 are regular ones.
2. We facilitated recycling of more than 700,000 kgs of waste.
3. We distributed a sum of Rs.55,00,000 against the waste purchased from the sisters.
4. We were able to share Rs.6,50,000 amongst the sisters as profit made in this self-sustainable business model.
5. Collaborated with 10 schools to spread awareness about the waste & its management and the phenomenal service our women are doing for the society and the Environment.
6. Employment provided to 20 members.
It is important to make factual progress, but we always make conscious efforts to make sure that the compassion and vision behind this whole endeavour is never diluted, which is nothing but bringing respect and dignity to our amazing Paryavaran Mitra sisters. Their smile is what we all aspire for.
We are also grateful to our volunteers like Ben, Chandler and Monia to name a few, for serving with us and spreading love in our communities.
