World Environment Day

On the pre-evening of World Environment Day, to express our love and gratitude towards Mother Earth, we did a mass Sapling Plantation Event. We planted 150+ saplings in the planters made by slum dwelling women of Gandhi Ashram. We also installed a designer vertical garden with 60 planters at Safai Vidyalaya, Gandhi Ashram. We were accompanied by super energetic and mindful students of St. Kabir along with their mentors, our team members and other kids of our eco-system. Kishan bhai, very inspiring soul of Manav Sadhna also graced us with his presence. Overall, it was really a fun filled learning experience where we got a chance to get closer to nature at-least for a while. Each participant was gifted a planter so that their association with Mother Earth now continues on a daily basis.
It was a pleasant surprise to receive the Energy & Environment Performance Audit Report conducted by Enerfuture on this occasion. We are proud to share that we saved 2468,000 kgs of CO2 from emission and saved 27380 trees from being cut through our recycling initiatives at different localities.
