As 31st March signifies the end of financial year in Indian economy, we are happy to share updates of Paryavaran Mitra.
Key inspiring points are:
1. In this journey so far, we served more than 300+ women of which 125 are regular ones.
2. We facilitated recycling of more than 11,00,000 kgs of waste thereby saving nearly 40,00,000kgs of CO2 from emission and over 42,000 trees from being cut.
3. We distributed a sum of Rs.86,00,000 against the waste purchased from the sisters.
4. Meaningful engagements with institutions like schools/hotels/offices etc., to spread awareness about waste & its management and the phenomenal service our women are doing for the society and the Environment.
5. Employment provided to 20 members.
It is important to make factual progress, but we always make conscious efforts to make sure that the compassion and vision behind this whole endeavour is never diluted, which is nothing but bringing respect and dignity to our amazing Paryavaran Mitra sisters. Their smile is what we all aspire for.
We are deeply grateful to our lovely volunteers for serving with us and spreading love in our communities.
