Happy New Year to all of you..
Being the last fortnight of the year, the focus was on the most important aspect of the process which is nothing but awareness and sharing about the phenomenal work done by amazing Paryavaran Mitra sisters.
At one end, our sisters were invited as guest to St. Kabir’s annual funfair and were treated like royalty whereas on the other end, we shared about the journey of these women with teachers & students of our eco-system. On more professional academic front, we conducted a whole-day workshop on the model of Paryavaran Mitra at Entrepreneurship Development Institute of India (EDI) for the senior management students. Similarly, we also took part in exhibitions for sharing about the concept of up-cycling and how our sisters are contributing towards it using their artistic skills.
Being the Christmas/New Year’s vacation time of the year, we are blessed with friends/family members visiting Manav Sadhna. Their presence is always motivating for the whole team. Our sisters also took opportunity to send piggy banks to homeless sisters of UK as a token of love and togetherness on the eve of Christmas. They had been interacting for last couple of years because of the efforts and vision of Ani Di, our family member from UK.
So, all in all it was a satisfying and hopeful end of this lovely year.
