The fortnight belonged to our family and friends visiting us from across the globe strengthening our bonds and relations.
At one end, Nilam aunty graced us with her motherly presence. She spent quite a bit of time with her daughters which she recently adopted for their education. We had a nice outing with kids to nearby park for fun. The idea is to support similar lesser privileged kids from our community by establishing a personal connection with them and mentoring them in every possible way.
On the other end, Rishbhai and Simadi from US visited Manav Sadhna family. It was nothing less than a fun riot to have them at Saturday special event where they conducted a game session using their amazing impromptu skills. It was the 1st time they actually spent time with the sisters and interacted with them on various aspects. We were also accompanied by Ankur bhai and Natashaben.
Like last year, we also had an energetic dance session conducted by DMU students. Sisters really had a great time becoming kids for a while. At the end, our sisters also shared some Garba (local dance form) moves with them.
These all events were accompanied by kite festival which in itself is a big day full of music, fun and kite flying.
We feel so grateful to all our family members who bring so much energy and encouragement every time they are around.
