As we are have been gradually taking strides in different areas to serve our sisters better, this fortnight was focused around bringing systems in place.
At one end, we had SHG training for our team from ISEED, IRMA to share the concept and the need of SHGs as a robust saving program extremely beneficial for lesser privileged communities. While on the other, our core team visited Swach, Pune to learn & understand their model, their strength and the challenges they overcame in their 40+ years of service journey. It was definitely a very enriching experience for the team.
As we have recently extended our door-to-door service to 3500+ houses, we enabled all our vehicles with GPS. So, now anyone can track the locations of our collection vehicles making the system more transparent and accountable.
Amidst all these, we never forget to spend quality time with our sisters. So, it was another simple but fun filled Saturday special where we played musical chair with them.
So, altogether it was a fulfilling fortnight.
