Beautiful fortnight…
Although being the monsoon period, the journey of service and learning continues.
We will start sharing the good news that we did a MoU with URMUL Trust, enabling us to formally collect all the electronic-waste as well from different parts of the society. So, gradually the penetration is getting deeper and the outreach wider.
It was an also exciting experience to take a Social Enterprise Modeling workshop for the MBA students of NIRMA University (NU). It was a well-designed workshop that ended with their field visit to our centres. Thanks to Dr. Punit of NU and our volunteer Anand bhai from UK for envisioning this engagement.
On the other hand, with the intent of sharing the journey of Paryavaran Mitra sisters, a rag-picking session was planned for all volunteers led by Amy, a lovely soul from US serving at Manav Sadhna for almost an year now. It was followed by a small sharing session at Hriday Kunj, Gandhi Ashram. It was very powerful to listen to the experiences of the participants.
Lastly, as kids are back in school, basic stationary was distributed to all the kids whom we are mentoring with support of our friends & family.
All in all, it is good to back in full swing and hope the learning &the blessing continues.
