We are a group of enthusiasts aspiring to bring meaningful positive change in the lives of rag-picking women of our city. Our team includes social workers who have been serving for decades, young professionals from reputed colleges like IRMA, MIT etc., Industry experts along with people who are actually involved in rag-picking. The divergence in the knowledge of the team members makes sure that the model that being developed takes care of all aspects of a rag-picking woman’s life.

Vandanadidi, as we lovingly address her, is a co-founder of Gramshree and a trustee of Manav Sadhna. She has served for several decades serving and empowering women and artisans, with the simple intention to bring smiles on their faces.
Viren Joshi is a co-founder of Manav Sadhna, an NGO based in the Gandhi Ashram. Under his guidance, Manav Sadhna had been serving thousands of underprivileged kids and women in several of Ahmedabad’s slum communities for the last three decades.
Ashish Agrawal is Founder Director of Paryavaran Mitra. Being an Engineer from MIT and an MBA from IRMA, he professionally brings in balance in this model wherein business is used as a tool to holistically serve the rag-picking community of our society.
Viral kanabar is trustee of Paryavaran Mitra. Being a qualified CA & CPA from Australia, his experience of running successful businesses of different domains brings very valuable inputs for the organization. He also supports organisation financially as and when needed.
